The service

IPLense provides IP address location, IP Property, ASN, network operator, traffic composition, and risk information. Quick Check presents the main fields in one view. Professional Check shows location, type, and risk results from multiple data sources.

IP routing, allocation, location, and use change over time, and data sources apply different standards. Decide whether your use case requires additional evidence.

Fair use and access limits

You must use IPLense through its normal website flow and comply with security verification and applicable access limits. IPLense may adjust limits or temporarily restrict access based on service capacity, security, and fair use.

Without written permission, you may not:

• bypass Turnstile, access controls, query limits, or other security measures;
• use automation to bulk scrape, copy, or redistribute IPLense lookup results;
• interfere with the website, servers, data sources, or other users;
• submit malicious requests, attempt unauthorized access, or test non-public security boundaries;
• use IPLense for unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, or harmful activity; or
• impersonate IPLense or describe its results as official certification from a government, network operator, or data source.

Accounts and the administrator area

Public lookups do not require a registered user account. The administrator area is restricted to authorized personnel, and credentials must not be shared. If credentials are lost or used without authorization, stop using them and contact the service maintainer immediately.

Content and intellectual property

The IPLense website design, original text, software, and brand assets belong to their respective rights holders. You may view and export your own lookup results for personal or internal business decisions, but you may not remove source identification and reproduce, sell, or republish the website or its content at scale.

Provider names, logos, third-party data, maps, and linked content belong to their respective rights holders. Your use of a third-party service is also subject to its applicable terms.

Availability and changes

IPLense works to maintain its website and data connections but does not promise uninterrupted availability or identical results across times and data sources. We may update pages, fields, data sources, limits, or features, or discontinue part of the service. Material changes will be reflected in the relevant pages.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that submitted IP addresses and your use of results comply with applicable requirements. Decisions made by your business, accounts, or automated systems based on a result remain your responsibility. If a result may need correction, email [email protected].

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, IPLense is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss resulting from service unavailability, changes in third-party data, differences between results, or your use of a result. This section does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Updates to these terms

We may update these Terms when the service or operating model changes. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of IPLense after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
